For a group of five or six, start with a clear capacity check: none of the seven Athenian Ascents apartments accommodates the whole group in one apartment. Our largest individual apartment, Hidden Gem of Plaka 2BD, accommodates up to four guests. You would need separate apartments, subject to availability, or a different property that explicitly accepts your full group.
Decide whether staying together is essential
If one shared home is essential to your plans, look for a listing with a stated capacity for every guest and check the full sleeping arrangement. Two bedrooms alone do not tell you that a home accommodates six people. Do not assume that children, extra beds or a sofa allow you to exceed the listing’s maximum.
If separate apartments work for your group, compare their exact locations before booking. Athenian Ascents apartments are individual listings. Similar names do not establish that they are next door to each other, in the same building or connected internally.
Compare combinations using the published capacities
Two apartments that each accommodate three guests have enough combined capacity for six, but that is only a capacity calculation. You still need both apartments available for your dates and sleeping arrangements that suit each subgroup. Likewise, an apartment for four plus one for two may work numerically, while their distance apart may make the arrangement unsuitable.

Check both bookings before committing
Choose the same check-in and check-out dates on each listing and enter the actual number of guests staying in each apartment. Compare both final totals, including displayed charges, and read the cancellation conditions for each booking. Two reservations may have separate payment deadlines or refund terms.
Before confirming either reservation, contact the host if you need help coordinating the apartments. Availability shown for one property does not reserve the second. Do not assume that a group discount or a combined cancellation policy applies.
Plan how the group will meet
Compare maps for each apartment and agree on a meeting place that works for everyone. Check routes for the specific entrances and your group’s mobility needs. Our Monastiraki guide and Plaka guide provide context for choosing an area; they do not replace checking the individual properties.
Make a like-for-like price comparison
Compare the total cost of all apartments with the total for any hotel rooms or larger home you are considering. Use identical dates and the same number of guests. An apartment is not automatically cheaper, and we do not promise a fixed saving against a platform. Browse our collection to see the individual photographs, amenities and booking calendars.
