For an Athens trip with friends, agree on the sleeping arrangements and maximum budget before choosing an area. A shared apartment can be useful when everyone fits comfortably within its listed capacity. Larger groups may prefer separate apartments or hotel rooms. Compare the particular options rather than assuming one type of accommodation is always cheaper.
Start with your actual guest count
In the Athenian Ascents collection, Hidden Gem of Plaka 2BD has two bedrooms and accommodates up to four guests. Each Parthenon Portrait apartment accommodates up to three. AcroView, AcroLights, Acropoli’s Balcony and Plato’s Square each accommodate up to two guests.
Plato’s Square Apartments is a one-bedroom apartment for up to two guests. Despite the plural name, this individual listing is not a large apartment for a group. Check the photographs, amenities and map if it suits one or two members of your party.
Match sleeping arrangements to your friendships
Maximum capacity does not describe how the beds are arranged. Check the individual listing and ask about anything unclear before paying. A one-bedroom apartment accepting three guests does not mean three separate bedrooms or necessarily three separate beds.
Hidden Gem of Plaka 2BD offers two bedrooms, a kitchen and a washing machine. It is an option to compare for a group within its maximum of four guests. For larger groups, separate apartments would be necessary within this collection.
Choose an area around what you want to do
If Psyrri and Monastiraki feature in your plans, use our Psyrri guide and Monastiraki guide to explore the areas. Then open the map for the exact apartment. A guide about a neighbourhood does not mean every apartment mentioned is in that neighbourhood.
Check the route from the property to your meeting points and activities. We do not promise a specific walking time or a quiet night based on an area name. If street noise or a particular access requirement could affect your stay, ask about the apartment before booking.
Compare separate apartments carefully
For a larger group, check that all apartments are available for the same dates and that their locations work together. Similar listing names do not establish adjoining units. Agree on who will make each booking and review each cancellation policy before anyone pays.
Check the total and the house rules
Compare full totals for the same dates and guest count, including displayed charges. Review the house rules, check-in and check-out times, and any specific request with the host. A friends’ trip does not imply permission for parties or extra visitors.
Browse the seven apartments, shortlist those with suitable capacity and use the official booking site to check your dates. Prices and terms can differ by channel; there is no fixed percentage saving promised.
